Christmas in July

So....lots to catch up on, as usual, but I'm determined to catch up so we can include EVERYTHING into our journal. We had a wonderful time in Utah for Christmas. We started the holidays early with a family party in California too. Cody's Dad & Leslie had come into town for the Skydiving Event so we had Christmas with them and Bryce & Lisa & Polly while they were here. The kids loved it and it was fun to celebrate Christmas with them in short sleeves and flip-flops before we left for the snow. Of course we love having a white Christmas but it's getting harder and harder to come up with winter clothes as the kids keep growing and we don't have a reason to buy turtlenecks and warm winter coats. It's totally worth it though and we love every minute of the kids playing in the snow! Everyone takes good care of us with the warm clothes while we're there.

One of the best and cutest traditions is when the pajamas are opened from Grandma Debbie & Grandpa Phil. The kids love it and the pictures are so fun. The kids love their cousins and these pictures say it all.

Christmas morning was really fun. The kids had a great time and Avery loved her Dora bike. It's fun to spend Christmas morning with Grandma's and Grandpa's and it was a fun year for them because Grandpa Phil got a brand new snowmobile helmet and Grandma Debbie got a new snowmobile. Great minds think alike. It's so much work to get everything together for a white Christmas, but so worth it in the end. We had a wonderful time!!
